MinoSim is operated by SixTreks LLC ("MinoSim," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate this store and website, including the related information, content, features, digital products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit or use the Services, purchase an eSIM or other product, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy regarding the collection, processing, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that has been anonymized or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and applicable law, we may collect or process:
- Contact information, such as your name, billing address, phone number, and email address.
- Payment and transaction information, such as your payment method, payment confirmation, transaction details, and billing information. Complete payment-card details are generally collected and processed directly by Shopify or another payment processor rather than stored by MinoSim.
- Order information, such as the products you view, place in your cart, purchase, cancel, or request a refund for, and your previous transactions.
- eSIM service information, such as the eSIM product purchased, eSIM identifiers, activation and installation status, validity period, data usage or remaining balance, and technical or network information needed to provide or troubleshoot the eSIM service.
- Customer account information, if you use a customer account, such as your account identifier, preferences, and settings. Authentication credentials may be processed by Shopify.
- Communications with us, including information you provide in customer-support requests or other messages.
- Device and network information, such as your device type, browser, network connection, IP address, and other online identifiers.
- Usage information, such as how and when you browse, access, or interact with the Services.
Sources of Personal Information
We may collect personal information:
- Directly from you, including when you place an order, create or use an account, contact us, or otherwise provide information to us.
- Automatically through the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our website.
- From service providers, including Shopify, payment processors, eSIM suppliers, telecommunications providers, network partners, analytics providers, and customer-support providers.
- From advertising and business partners, where permitted by applicable law.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide and improve the Services. This includes processing payments, fulfilling eSIM orders, delivering installation information and QR codes, managing activations, checking service status, processing eligible refunds, maintaining customer accounts, remembering preferences, and improving the shopping experience.
- Provide eSIM service and support. This includes transmitting necessary order information to eSIM suppliers and network partners, provisioning the eSIM, confirming activation or usage status, and diagnosing installation, connectivity, or service problems.
- Market and advertise our Services. Where permitted, we may send promotional emails and display advertisements on our website or other websites, including advertisements based on products you viewed, purchased, or added to your cart. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
- Maintain security and prevent fraud. This includes authenticating accounts, securing payments and orders, and detecting, investigating, or responding to fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity.
- Communicate with you. This includes sending order and service notifications, answering questions, providing customer support, and maintaining our business relationship with you.
- Comply with legal obligations. This includes responding to valid legal process, protecting our legal rights, resolving disputes, and enforcing our terms and policies.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- Shopify and other service providers. We may disclose information to Shopify, payment processors, hosting and cloud providers, analytics providers, customer-support providers, email providers, fraud-prevention providers, and other vendors that help us operate the Services.
- eSIM suppliers and network partners. We may disclose contact information, order details, eSIM identifiers, activation status, usage status, and technical information necessary to provision, deliver, operate, or troubleshoot your eSIM service.
- Advertising and marketing partners. We may disclose information to partners that help us measure or provide advertising. Depending on where you reside, you may have the right to opt out of disclosures considered "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable law. You may exercise that right through our Your Privacy Choices page.
- At your direction or with your consent. We may disclose information when you request, direct, or consent to the disclosure.
- Business and legal matters. We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets; to comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests; to enforce our terms and policies; or to protect MinoSim, our customers, or others.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information relating to your access to and use of the Services to provide and improve the shopping experience. Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify and other service providers in countries other than the country where you live.
We may use Shopify features that use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to help protect, improve, and market our business. For certain processing associated with these features, Shopify may be responsible for responding to requests concerning your privacy rights. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or submit certain requests through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website usage, prevent fraud, and support analytics and advertising. Depending on your location, you may be able to manage non-essential cookies through the cookie-preference controls displayed on our website.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may contain links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy, or reliability of websites or platforms that we do not control.
Children's Data
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us to request its deletion. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share, as those terms are defined by applicable law, personal information belonging to individuals under 16.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security system or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured channels.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including fulfilling and supporting eSIM orders, maintaining business and transaction records, complying with tax and legal obligations, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the applicable legal or operational requirement.

- Portability: request a copy of certain personal information in a portable format.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as an opt-out request for the browser and device where required by applicable law. If Shopify can associate the device with a Shopify account, the request may also be applied to that account. Learn more at Global Privacy Control. Other than Global Privacy Control, we do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
You may exercise your rights through the methods indicated on the Services or by contacting us below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
